Jamie Winchester is a Irish singer/songwriter/guitarist mainly active in Hungary with the bands Jamie-Robi and Baba Yaga[1]. The bands and Jamie himself have grown of national fame in Hungary where they regularly perform.
Jamie’s rise to fame came when he collaborated with Róbert Hrutka (the Robi in Jamie-Robi) on a commercial for Pannon GSM. The featured song “It’s Your Life” became a hit in 2003, remaining at the #1 spot of the Hungarian charts for ten weeks before giving way to others. Vera Schmidtperformed the song at her Megasztár performance and the popular DJ Sterbinszky made a club remix of the song.
