The BUTTERFLY PROJECT is an Interactive Installation Project developed by visual artist Tunde Toth. Inspired by workshops facilitated as part of the National Drawing Day events at the Butler Gallery in Kilkenny City in 2013, this programme is designed to take these workshops to a different level creating an ongoing, interactive, inclusive, participatory project `moving` between two venues and featured in two arts festivals in Co. Kilkenny: Abhainn Ri Festival and the Kilkenny Arts Festival.
Two techniques/art processes will be used to create unique butterflies:Origami – JAPANESE technique
and Contemporary SILK FIBRE PAPERMAKING.
