A huge Transylvanian Hungarian festival is coming to Manchester

With craft beer, local wine, and musicians, Góbéfest will prove there’s more to Transylvania than just Dracula

If Dracula is the first thing that comes to mind on hearing Transylvania, then make time to visit Manchester’s first dedicated Transylvanian Hungarian festival for a real taste of the historical region.

Góbéfest will take place from Saturday May 13 to Sunday May 14 and will feature a line-up of the area’s most exciting food, art, dancing and music.

“Over the years, hundreds of people have asked me about Transylvania, where I grew up before moving to England, 26 years ago. Góbéfest gives me the opportunity to unveil the mystery.”
