Hi everyone, The exclusive opening ceremony of the Hungarian Culture Days is open to the public this year!! If you are not volunteers of the event- you can make your donation here through eventbrite and you can join us! -30 e – tickets for 2. Folkdance, choir, delicious food. Can’t wait to see all of you there!

 

Hungarian Culture Days is an annual, vibrant 4-day cultural festival in Dublin, showcasing the very best in Hungarian culture, art and heritage and connecting with the Hungarian community in Ireland, while building valuable new connections with Irish people and communities.

The Opening Ceremony is in English/Hungarian. This is an exclusive event in an elegant venue at the same time the meeting point of Hungarian Businesses, traders.

Date: Thursday (17th September)  Opening Ceremony Time: 7pm-11pm

  • Knapweed Hungarian Folk Dance Group from Northern Ireland Omagh perform Czardas from Transdanubia and Dances from Sárköz

  • Zsuzsanna Kálló Bogdáné folksinger’s performance / Péter Sebestyén on the traditional Hungarian instrument ‘citera’

  • Máté Judit pianist and Nagy Gyula London National Studio educated bariton singer’s common performance

  • Speech by the Chairman of the IHBA-Irish Hungarian Business Association

  • Speech by the Manager at Carlow Dental Centre

The song of the Hungarian Culture Days is written by Katalin Szűcs. Composer – Márton Sipos
